Who is Jesus.

The giver of
of salvation,
by hip hop
hop scotching
his way,
singing
"ring around
the roses"
fearing not
TO BE
holding his hand
on judgement day.
Made without
the seed
of corrupted
men,
but placed in
the womb
of a holy oven,
bread of life
BAKED
by God Almighty.
A muslim should
tell you us
that story is true
not to sure about the jews.
but I love them too
not too sure about those HINDU's
they get me nervous
reminds me of withcraft and vodoo
Why bother,
Indian Jones knows what to do.
Complicated birth,
Filthy, smelly, and cramped
manger
around
foriegners and strangers.
Was it comparible to giving
birth in the big city
in the back seat
of a cab.
Harold's henchmen
wanting to stop
his reign on earth
given: gold, frankensense and myrr
WAS HE RICH,
WAS HE WHITE,
WAS HE POOR,
WAS HE BLACK,
he is definately a citizen
of the empire of rome
and a jew.
I try not to eat pork
on Christmas
and Easter
too.
Who is jesus?
no one really knows,
except the twelve
that are long dead,
but,
and,
even they
got confused
Judas swung from
tree
dropped his
bloody coins in the dirt
Peter said no three times.
Then ran to Rome
to start a church
I think Jesus words
are awesome,
they guide the thoughts
of my mind.
To tell the truth
I really don't know him
I was not at the table
when he broke the bread
and passed the cup of wine,
(I don't even like wine?
Am i in trouble?
It must mean alot more?)
I did not see him
hang from a cross
and I did not touch
his wounds after he was buried
for three days.
I do know the HOLY SPIRIT
and she and WISDOM
tells me it is true.
Jesus is the Christ
the giver of our Salvation.

All roads Lead to Rome.

Rome is death. The road not taken, is the road taken by another, making the road less travelled travelled by you and another. Regardless, death is waiting for all. High road or the low road we all will be pushing up daisies and becoming bug food. No matter, I still sit under the shade of my porch. To many acorns, bugs and pine needles sitting under the shade of a tree. I will always know how to get to my tree on the road.

I reread the poem "The road not taken" by Robert Frost. I think of Frank Sinatra and the song "my way." I can not do it my way, someone has been on the road before and will be on it after me. Oh, this me carving on a tree in those woods not clearly seen on that road taken. Lots of people been carving out here. This is when I just want to be enviromentalist and not carve on trees but give a human a light if they ask me. I will let them know unequivocally it is Jesus that lights all of these roads.

Why wait till it hits your front door.

The economic misfortunes in the United State has been occuring in a domino effect. The first time I heard of the domino effect was as a child setting up domino to fall in very pretty patterns that did nifty trick. I did not have many dominos for outrageous displays but I did like to make dominoes fall of a table into a bowl. Then their is the house of cards?

Overtime, I learned that the domino effect was a condition that represented the rise of communism. A state, once embracing the ideals of communism, would export those beliefs to neighboring countries and subvert ideals of traditional liberalism. The concept has proven to be true and false. The states created tend to be autonomous and not maintaining a central idea that controlled all communist nations. For example, communism in the former Soviet Union was different to those created in communist China.

The domino effect that I am seeing is the collapse of our economy from the inside of our country. The domino effects hits the the lower classes first then rises to extend into the upper strata of economy. Well the top end of the American economy can take an economi hit. For instance, if you make 5 millions dollars in the previous year and only 2.5 million dollars in the next year, the loss of a 2.5 a million would hurt but not drastically change an individual economic condition. However, If an indidual made 50,000 dollars in one year and 25,000 dollars the next that will surely devastate the person living condition.

The greater the loss of individuals in the lower branch of our economy has a more profound effect on the econmy than those in the upper levels of our economy. It may also be argued that the profits lost by the upper strata of our econmy has a more profound effects on our economy. Nash's equlibrium formula would come in handy to create a balance between the upper and lower.

The collapse of the economy is a domino effect! We see the occurrance in many cities of America. I have seen many abandoned industrial sectors of American communities. The largest I know of is the area known as the "Rust Belt." We are not very neighborly when we begin to see to dominoes fall. In the United States these dominoe fall in areas of class and race. Personal I think we are all humans. The lower a person is on the totem pole the quicker the eradicaition of the section of their economy.

"Am I my brothers keeper?" Am I being neighborly when I see large sections of our econmy begin to collapse and say nothing. Will prayers to God and petitions to the government address this econmic delima. What are we as Americans being taught to replace these sections of the economy that are being replaced.

I notice major cutbacks in education in my home state of California. Can we learn to replace sections of economy without being educated. How can an individual have morals for their fellow man when the Christian faith is being purged from the govermental apparatus the state. Many educated individuals do not need to take ethics and they become the shaker and movers our society.

What happens to the rest of the world if we do get our economy back on track? Will we allow our neighboring countries to have a bad economy while we prosper? The influx of illegal immigrant workers show the problems of letting countries in South American econmies become stagnant and not allow growth. This has been termed Neo-colonialism.

Recently, I have noticed our president attempting to expand trade with India. The exportation of jobs to foriegn countries are killing our economy. People starve and go without for profits to increase revenues for multinational corporations. The Christian businessman becomes an oxymoron in the pursuit of wealth.

How many more jobs will be lost when companies begin to hire the undesirable caste in India. What will they be willing to do to raise their lot in their culture. A doctor that makes 20,000 a year. A doctor mostly prescribes medication. I geuss I will be able to get real cheap prescription from indian doctors. What are the American people willing to surrender to help these individual raise their lot in life. Business people say they are helping these people so it is a good thing to do. Am I a good neighbor, not at the moment. The modern world makes it difficult to be the good neighbor.

The chicken or the egg.

As an expert political theorist and Christian I always wonder about the need for people to dwell in a city, to the Greeks a polis. Many Christians want to create a "city of light" on a hill that all may see the prosperity of living for God threw Christ. The problem I see, the more I analyze the problem, I notice that it is not Christ that causes people to flock to a "city of light" but the acquisition of wealth.

The true rewards of being a Christian are not tangible. Wealth is tangible but it is an indirect reward for living for Christ. I think at any point of time a Christian will surrender their wealth to further walk with Christ. Many people wait till their about to check out for the afterlife to surrender this wealth.
The rewards are a feeling that one has inside: peace, wisdom, freedom of guilt and others. The sun shines on those that do evil as well as those that do good. The good and the evil both aquire wealth. The Christian aquires wealth but the actions done with the aquired wealth can be used for good. The wealth that is aquired by the evil person can be used for good. However, since everyone is welcomed into the family of Christ then evil does not exist.
Wisdom comes in handy. To realize that evil is ignorance. The enlightment of wisdom sheds a light on the darkness of ignorance. However, when one is no longer ignorant and has the light, but continues to live in the darkness this can be considered evil. Moreover, that person that has the light but lives in darkness stiill has the ability to come into the light.
To have the light but to turn that light off and live in darkness is a living hell. A human can not have two masters they will always be in conflict within themselves.
A city is a light in the darkness of the wilderness. In that light of the city there is a darkness that makes a person prefer the darkness of the wilderness and carry the light within them self. Overall the city is a light that is born from darkness therefore no matter what is done in a city the foundation is not for the betterment of humanity but for the few.
One small example, a city is a hub for commerance. You go to the city for the things you want. To covet is a violation of the ten commandments. There is a profound difference between what one needs and wants. A Christian will provide the needs of an individual and teach them how to get those needs and the word of GOD. When it comes to want, what are those things a person should want. To seek the kingdom of God is what a Christians wants.
What comes first to need or to want? The chicken or the egg. In the modern technological world we have been thrust into the darkness of what are needs and want. There are things we do just to enjoy life and the creations of GOD.

I am led to look at the principles of a Free grace model that allows one to sin freely without losing salvation and the lordship salvation model that state those that are saved will emit the ways of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savoir. There is a combintion of the two with wisdom a gift from the spirit one will know where the two collide and continue to lordship salvation.

Who is ALLAH

I read this on a tract on my way to church today. In the tract a Christian challenges a Muslim by saying Allah is just an ancient pagan god of Arabs and begins to argue with the Muslim why Jesus Christ is the truth and the way and why Muhammad "blessing be upon his name" is sinister.

After reading the pamphlet I was ashamed that my fellow Christians would produce such rubbish. The arguments used to state Islam is false are the same used to state Christianity is false. Some believe that Christianity is an extension of Egyptian idolatry and Islam is an extension of Arab idolatry. Moreover, Judaism is a hodge podge collection of various beliefs from the middle east. "Blesseth are the peace makers." There are individuals that are promoting the concept that Islam has nothing to do with Judaism. OH VA.

"My daddy is better than your daddy because he has a bigger car" the next thing you know a fight breaks out and everyone is a loser.

As a peacemaker, I am not one to slander and attack another belief system. I can not make peace if I can not listen to my fellow human and what they believe and hold dear to their hearts. I want Muslims to accept Christ as their savior but stoning a Muslim is not the way. Especially, since they would detonate a car bomb to say go screw yourself. (joking)

The lack of faith in Christ as the only begotten son of God and the Son of man is my problem. They have the same regards to Christ as the Jews. I have compassion and respect for them. The Jews and the Muslims try to keep a rigid Law.

"Works do not bring salvation." I am reminded of the comic Chris Rock when he makes an examination of an individual. He states: How a person feels like there doing a great thing because they take care of there children. Chris Rock thought that is nothing special you have kids you are supposed to take care of them. I believe we are supposed to follow the Law of God there is nothing special in a thing you are supposed to do.

I find as a Christian we become wishy washy and tend to go against what we believe to be the truth. The word of God states unequivocally "do not kill." Every time a war breaks out there are some Christians ready to kill. To kill in war can be justified in the Bible but to Love your fellow human one will not kill them and can not without suffering internally. We are hypocrites but over time, hopefully we become Christ like threw the Holy spirit sent by God to saves us.

My perspective is that one has to have a law before they can understand Jesus Christ. The Arabs had no Law when the Prophet gave Arabs the message from GOD. All Christians have a problem explaining the trinity as monotheism. I have no problem believing the Quran is the truth for Arabs they are supposed to accept that Christ is the truth for me. Our beliefs have so many ideas in common. The spirit working threw Christians will show truth of our beliefs to others with the Law.

As a protestant I see some of the criticism Muslims levy at Christians. For example, Catholics say prayers to saints. I say prayers to God not to saints but I thank the saints of Christianity for the examples they gave to us as followers of Christ. Overtime, the devotion to a saint which is a person can turn into Godlike reverence.

Many scholars suggest that pagan gods are the ancestors of a particular group of people. For instance, the Goddess Athena was a Human founder of the ancient city of Athens that was given divinity overtime.

Ishmael the son of Hagar the slave a concubine to Abraham is the fathers of the Arabs. Ishmael had a shadow of a shadow of the truth concerning God. How far into darkness would that shadow of a shadow of truth go into a lawless society. Pagan idolatry for one! Muhammad "blessing be upon his name" was needed to bring a light into that cave the descendants of Ishmael travelled.

The light given to Arabs will allow them to see the light of Jesus Christ in Christians and have eternal salvation. Well not everyone has a bright light to be seen. Many people say they have the light and can be dark. A person with a light can see the darkness in a person but then again no Christians is to judge but love our fellow human and hopefully they can embrace the love we have from Jesus Christ.

Islam was spread around circa 620 ad. How many saints where being worshipped then and put that on top of pagan worship. I have heard/read many Protestant arguments that state Catholicism is just an extension of Roman/Greek paganism. With all that idolatry the world was being sent back into the darkness of paganism. I think Judaism and Islam are good book ends for the gospel of Jesus Christ. To put it in American political thought, a nice checks and balances for the true believers in God.

"Blesseth are the peace makers."

Allah is God and God is Yahweh. Beware the scholar for they seek proof not faith. Those that seen did not believe those that read will not believe. The kingdom of heaven is inside of us; we must feel it.

Wheat and thistle

The reason of the State, we have wheat and thistle. Depending on prespective a person can be wheat to one and thistle to the other. I think Muslims see the Christians as thistle and Christians see Jews as thistle and Jews see Muslim and Christains as thistle. I geuss we are all thistle.

Thislte: any of the various prickly composite plant having showy purple flower heads.
Wheat: the grain of any cereal grass used in the form of flour.

I just looked up thislte for the first time and I have just gotten a new prespective. I had no idea that thistle had showy purple flower heads. I thought it was just a prickly plant like a weed that prevented wheat to grow. I geuss thistle looks good to the eye but it is not good to eat. I assume ( not to make an ass- out of -u- and -me-: I learned that from a great college professor I had years ago.) that thistle and wheat can grow together but thistle kind of looks like wheat but has pretty flowers but has no substance for humanity.

Here is a point when I admire individuals that do not live in the city and the have the ability to look at the growth rate of nature daily helping one to understand life better. Thomas Jefferson thought the United States should maintain a healthy population of free independent farmers. Who started the rumor of a country bumpkin? A farmer would know alot about the natural sciences, a tremendous grasp on the life and death cycle, and enviromentalism.

Do other religions have substance for a Christian. I think, yes. (I so want to see the interaction of wheat and thistle in a field.) For instance, I think the Buddhist concept of the Fourth Noble Trtuh that states the eight fold path: 1) right view 2) right intention 3) right speech 4) right action 5)right livelihood 6) right effort 7) right mindfulness 8) right concentration are very helpful for any individual.

On thing that has helped me is looking at the great religions of the world in a sequenchal order of time. Mohammed, "blessings upon his name" said that God has delivered a prophet to all people during various courses of human development. Humanity has been raised from the dirt to a status of divinity, losing that divinity, to becoming good, to engaging in evil. Humanity has osillated from low to high then high to low.

Divine truth: Every thing is weak, then strong, then weak again, it is the blessing from God that sustains us threw these cycles. A mountain is formed from a grain of sand and a mountain will become a grain of sand. A tree becomes a forest, then a forest becomes a tree. (Evolution, OHVA: who said God can't use evolution as a tool: How many stages of life did it take for dirt to become a man? beats me. Moreover, there is gold that is not mutable? Is humanity the same)

Personal, I always wonder am I thistle, so I remain quiet, and try not to be a showy purple flower (just learned this). For example, I have a hard time believing the story of Noah but then again many cultures have a story about a great flood. Then, I wonder about the two of every animal, then I think well if the two of every animal meant every domesticated animal then it makes since. From Noah's prespective the world was destroyed, how about someone on the other side of the globe? The Old testament is the story of the Jews the chosen people of God to deliver the ten commandments to the world, well he gave some other people the pyramids of Giza to give to the world, and so on and so on. Anyway, I geuss this is where I really start going into heresy, or maybe it was a while ago. So I remain quiet, and you have been warned reading these words.

Well, the United States gives me the abilty to ponder these concepts. An opinion is like an asshole and everyone has one. Regardless, if I am Wheat or Thistle the State protects me. "God Bless America and the ten amendments = the bill of rights." Citizens of the United States know these rights have been suspended at times. Some joker always has to start screaming fire in a burning building.

The State

The state is a major cross for Christains to bear out of many others. In I Peter 2;13-25 The disicple Peter puts down the rules of one's interaction with the State. To summarize: One is to submit themselves to every ordinance of man which is the State. The purpose of the state I Peter 2; 14 is to punish evil doers. I always wonder, Why where Christains killed in the coliseum of Rome? To submit to the will of the State does not mean the State is right. We suffer because the State is wrong and we must abide by the wishes of the State.

I submit to the will of the state and do not protest its decison but when the state goes against God is a Christains supposed to still submit to the will of the State. No! this is when we die. To me, the measure of God's Law is the Ten Commandments. "To do onto others as you want done to yourself." "Love God and your neighbor." Due to our love for humanity we are to suffer in silence and live by example. The example we set is to demonstrate the will of God in good and bad times. Hopefully, we do not lose our faith. The light of God within ourself is to be beacon for the darkness inside Humanity. This darkness is ignorance to the will of God.

One of the most puzzling statements Jesus has said: "Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription has it?" They answered and said Cae'sar's. And he said unto them, "Render therefore to Cae'sar the things which are Cae'sar, and to God the things which be God's."

Ohva, has this opened a kettle of fish. I think this means do not use God to avoid paying taxes, but you should not jeopardize your soul to appease the state. Why Christain and businessmen are considered on the same side in the United States I have no idea. When you come into conflict with God and the State; God is the rule to follow and a Christains will suffer for it.

Material gain is not the virtues of the kingdom of God. For at anytime if one wants your material gains you give them to them. Luke 6; 27-30: But i say to you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you. Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And to him that smite you on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that takes away your cloak forbid not to take your coat also."

I have heard arguments that state just take a slap on the face and if the beating continues you have the right to fight. I think this is wrong, since Christ died on the cross and the martyrdom of so many Christains that they did not for sake God to appease the State and death from the state was their reward but the kingdom of God is the reward for those that died.

I see the state the state as a beast that violates every commandment; if you think of the state as an artificial entity that is similar to man. In philosopy this could be considered a logical phallacy because one is comparing the individual to the whole.

In the United States we have the concept of limited government. The major purpose of this government was to protect property rights. The more an individual covets the more wealth they generate. This wealth generated is taxed by the state because the state allows one to generate wealth. There is no material gains from the belief of Christ message but spiritual treasures.

However, many Christains tend to end up gaining wealth: Who knows what a Christain would do with the gains. I believe ill gotten wealth given to charity does not make a wrong a right. [indulgences really pissed off Martin Luther, lol] The primary charity for a Christain is not giving wealth but offering forgiveness to our fellow human. This is another burden we suffer: to have the ability to forgive a wrong. We would rather put money in a plate.

I find the religous right devotion to the right for life and a desire for the death penalty is not compatible. So many burdens have arisen in an attempt to please God and the State. Oh well, there are instances in history when Christain have gotten tired of the ways of the world and took a stand and many that have done nothing to help the plight of there fellow man. The interpretation of the scripture by the individual guides there choice.

I submit to the will of the State, but I think the State is Evil and is not neccessary. When it comes to property the state is needed. Hhen it comes to the soul the Word of God is needed. Wealth is brief but salvation is eternal. States have come and gone but the Word of God remains.

Peace.

I am still working out trains of complex thoughts so my words tend to be obtuse, and this is extemporaneos writing. "off the cuff"

Anarchy.

Anarchy has various definitions: 1) no rulership or enforced authority. 2) Absence of government; a state of lawlessness due to absence or inefficiency of a supreme political power or political disorder. 3) A social state in which there is no governing person or group of peaople but each person has absolute liberty. 4) Absence or non regognition of authority in any given sphere.

I have heard the concept that government is a "neccesary evil." Governemnt provides peace and tranquility for citizens to prosper. Without government human society will be in chaos and that right "makes might will be the governing principle."

I disagree! I prescribe to the third concept of anarchy; my perspective is Christain Anarchy.

Humanity is inherntly good; divine authority states that when God created man he saw humanity as good. The divinity of humanity becomes corrupted by outside forces. (not submitting to the will of God.) The individual does and does not have the power to thrawt those external forces.
For instance, God gave Adam the right to eat of every tree. God did not give Adam the right to eat meat. During the story of creation we find that God new Adam was sinnig because he was in clothes. (God has no reason to think a divine being would sin?) To wear clothes Adam had to kill animals and rape the earth to create weapons; taking the life force of some of God's creations to live was not neccessary.
Adam coveted the things of God creation and not satisfied with his lot; I think Adam was trying to impress Eve. We men do some of the dumbest things to impress a woman. Overtime, little infractions become but big infractions. For example, the tenth commandment is just as important as the first commandment. I think people begin to break the tenth commandment first then progress up the ladder to a violation of the first. Moreover, to break the tenth is to go against the word of God thus breaking the first. (Today eating meat is not bad but it is better not to eat meat because of the negative consequences associated with the consumption.)

From divine authority, we find that humanity has commited an original sin (Adam turned from God to make Eve his focus in this life and this was not Eve's fault. Adam love of God brought him Eve, but Adam love of Eve began him on the path to turn from God. This concept does get erased.) that dimished our divinty and puts us at odds with nature but not our inherit ability to be and do good.
To re-establish our divinity a Christain submits to Christ. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son who ever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." The sacrifice of Christ redeems the world from orignal sin. I think no matter where a person is born after the sacrifice of Christ there original sin has been forgiven, To regain divinity and have eternal life one must follow the ways of Christ. When people are born the yoke of orignal sin is no longer applicable. (One of the sacraments of Jesus is the holy union between man and woman. In marriage, man and woman are to walk together with God as one, removing the burden of the choice between God, woman and man.)
Scientifically humanity has to be inherently good. In order for humanity to reproduce peace and stability must be had. For example, It takes roughly nine months for a woman to give birth to a child. Moreover, the time spent as a child and the reliance of that child on their parents for security and well being add years to the nine months. Therefore, humanity must be peaceful in odrer to continue our species.
Government is not needed to keep humanity peaceful. Hopefully, a Christain relies on Christ to be safe and secure not a government. Governments are created to maintain a few individuals in authority createing a stratified society. Christainity purpose is to save the world and make us one. The two are not compatible. Give unto Ceasar's what is Ceasar's give on to God was is God. What goes where?

Communion

I watched the movie paranormal activity. A woman began to be possesed by a demon. The woman went to a process of no control from the supernatural spirit until she was fully controlled by the supernatural spirit. Finally, she killed her boyfriend at the end of the movie.

I thought to myself, this is why I take communion and say the Lord's Prayer many times a day. According to the Bible evil spirits exist. The story of the demon called legion is one of them, Jesus threw the demons into a bunch of pigs and they ended up jumping off a cliff. I think evil spirits exist.

The works of a Christan reflects their beliefs in Christ and God and the works of one influenced by evil spirits reflects their works. The less a person is in Christ the more acceptable to evil spirits they become.

I am a Protestant, specifically a Methodist. I was born a Christian (As a child I always believed in the trinity, but when I started dealing with non-believers my faith was shook. There was a point of time when I could only rely on the word and life of Jesus.) and chose to be a Methodist when I got older and found a system that appealed to me.

The spirit moved me without me realizing to the church that I know attend. Before I became a member of my church I followed a red tail hawk to its location, but I was put off because of a Masonic Lodge is near its location: not a fan of free masons but that is another tale to be told.

Then a couple of years later a dear friend of mine took me inside to fellowship. I was like Holy Cow, I did not know this was here and I have liked my church ever since. The fact we say the Lord's Prayer a lot was awesome.

At my church I love taking communion. While researching the history of Methodism I discovered John Wesley's fondness for taking communion. I think communion helps with avoiding evil spirits. Trial and Era over the years I find that communion really gives a Christian an inner strength that allows us to put up the good fight.

I know all Christians should take communion regularly and not just at high holidays. Sometimes, I think I don't need communion and Oh boy! the world will start throwing stones at me that I did not even know existed. It is not a complete collapse overnight, but there is an erosion. I think there could be some kind of math formula for it, lol.

Anyway, communion is great. I was gonna talk about the difference between what protestants think versus what catholic think, then I realized at least we are doing it.

The inner versus the outer

I have read in various places of the conflict that occurs between the internal desire (ID), the ego and the super ego.
Is a Christain able to sustain their inner core beliefs in the modern world? For instance, Can a Christain be a good business person? There exist fundamental concepts in Christainity to cast off the desire of the world. "To be in the world but not of the world" is a saying my mother used to always mention to me when I got perplexed with my function in society.
To do business one must interact with the world to make a profit. Here is one of the many problems that creates an internal/exterior conflict for a Christain: to prosper in the world or to prosper in the kingdom of God. A person can not have two masters: "An individual will love the one and hate the other."
I love and hate the world. I love a beautiful sunset. Huge puffy purple, pink, and white clouds billowing across a blue sky that is progressly turning to a dark blue. I hate seeing the homeless, God has made a plentiful world for humanity but someone is not sharing. I love the roar of ocean waves crashing in the shallows of the shore. I hate war. So many innocent people dying for meaningless commodities that are really not needed.
"Humanity can not live on bread alone but needs the words of GOD." An individual following the word of God will lead to bread but how much bread does one have to eat?
Right now I am fascinated by the renaissance and the protestant reformation. The renaissance is divided into Northern Europe and Soutern Europe and the French must have been drinking wine, eating cheese and chasing snails. There is a reaction from the grandiose lifestyle of the Catholic Church versus the austere belifs of some protestants.
The protestants are divided into those who can get and those that don't want to get. I always wonder, actually constantly: what do I need to get versus what I want to get. Why do i need any of this @#$% in the first place. (I love freedom of speech but I am in the process of turning my blue language into a more mellow yellow that can be digested. My conflict gets me so discombobulated that I just use swear words to express my exasberation but I think I have a fairly good vocabulary.)
I am a methodist. In part methodism is a reaction to the pomp and splendor of an uncaring Church of England. The accuisition of wealth seemed to be a means to determine an individuals acceptance by GOD. (To progress in time to the anabaptist of pre-colonial United States and the concept of being saved is an internal feeling, but people want to see it to believe it. OHVA)
William Shakespear said "to be or not to be." I say to want or not to want is the question! I have so many thoughts but not enough time. Well, I leave it up to God but sometimes I try to grab the riegns. As usually: one of the lines in the Lord's pray, "Do not lead me into temptation, but deliver me from evil." To want is similar to covet, To covet is a violation of the ten commandents. The ten Commandments is the word of God. Jesus Christ is the word of God in the flesh. (An awesome representation of the Ten Commandments in action) To submit to Christ we become the living word of GOD? I dont want to live by the ways of the world. The jones can ride of into the sunset leave me with my Good Book.

Letting go of the world and submission to Christ.

I under go a struggle daily: to live in the world while believing in Christ and living by his word. It becomes very difficult at times. I am arrogant, petty, and judgemental during the worse times of my life. To be humble I often sacrifice the enjoyments of the world: clothes, cars, fine dining, women, booz...etc.
My works do not give access to salvation if anything it makes life a little more cold, bitter, and hard to enjoy. When I live as a man in man's world I find myself becoming lost and utterly alone. There is nothing great about the achievements of men. The creation of the universe the work of GOD shows us daily that we are nothing and we need his grace to live.
To forsake the gifts of the world and accept GOD threw Christ brings one appeasement to their heart and comfort to the soul. I try to put the world on my back and I strain my neck every time and fail to budge that boulder. I submit to Christ and hopefully GOD sends the holy spirit to give me comfort.
Don't get me wrong submission to Christ is not a heavy burden. To submit to Christ and the world there exist an extreme problem. Christ says, to paraphrase: a human can not have two masters. They will love on and hate the other. I love the Lord.
To love the world is to accept the frailty of the human condition. We are all weak and to kick someone when they are down is bad. We should lend a helping hand. We can not led by words must must lead by example and hopefully when we fall by the wayside there is someone to give us a hand.
As a man we are taught to go it alone with a stiff upper lip. When we lose our connection to Christ we feel like we are alone but we are not we just forget to listen. In the United States we have this concept of individual freedom granting us the ability to do as we desire.
I am not free and you are not free we are slaves to our flesh. Muslims say we are slaves to Allah. The Lord Jesus Christ is my Sheppard and I shall not want but I do. I am terrified to ask GOD. The Lord's prayer tell us that GOD knows what we need so don't ask and he will give. How does one determine the things that are of GOD and things of the world.
I took a vow of poverty. I understand a lot more about nothing. A vow of poverty gives one the ability to look away from the world and towards GOD. Once one looks away from the world towards GOD they still must walk in the world. I fear leading one astray for I do not want the wraith of GOD. I find my self sitting under the shade of a tree most of the time in contemplation but as a Christian I must walk in the world.

On anger

Anger can be a good and bad thing. Anger can motivate a person to change for the better or send them into a downward spiral of stagnation and self-loathing. I have had the benefit to engage in both extremes.

Looking back on my life I can see that I was so consumed with anger that I could not think right. I could only express myself with raw emotion threw the creative arts. Poetry and art was my medium for expression.

I would see the world around me and get furious and the fact I could not change a thing pissed me off more. A therapist once told me "you are to angry." I could not listen to him, but another told that the emotions and feelings I have are normal. The way a person deals with this anger will make or break them. I have not been broken but I have suffered from the bends.

To socialize via internet is it a positive or negative benefit to humanity?

I do not know. I can see the good and bad of this means of communication. I think of the internet I see many people coming together to share thoughts and ideas, be goofy and entertain others. I also the see - what is precieved to be a negative aspect- the pornography industry. As a christain I am torn concerning the whole prespective of pornagraphy.

It is human to want sexual arosal? Sexuality is to be human. I have read the Bible concerning the creation of man-to be politically correct; humanity- to be human is to be good. We have the potential to be evil. How does one determine good and evil?

We come to my question; slightly modified: Is the internet good or bad for human inter-action?

I will say no. We are becoming isolated. This isolation will generate alienation (Karl Marx has a good thought about the worker and alienation from his product; communication is the product of a mass majority of the individual human) and the means to be controlled.
